The visitors had won the ODI series 2-1 after losing the first rain-hit ODI match. Sikandar Raza’s Zimbabwean team were off to a fine start in their chase of 166 to win, reaching 77 for 2 in the 9th over but they lost their last eight wickets by 31 runs to be bowled out for 108 in 15.3 overs.
For Pakistan, youngsters Sufiyan Muqeem and Abrar Ahmed picked up two wickets each. Zimbabwe captain Raza top-scored with 39 off 28 balls with 4 fours.
Earlier, Pakistan put up an impressive 165 for 4 after batting first with all-rounder Tayyab Tahir scoring an unbeaten 39 off 25 balls with 4 fours and one six while wicketkeeper Usman Khan chipped in with 39 off 30 balls with two sixes and two fours.
