Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Sara Tendulkar is no stranger to fans around the world. Sara has massive social media presence with over 7.3 million followers on her Instagram account.

Sara recently completed her Masters in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from the University College in London. And just like her legendary father, Sara is looking to give back to the society as much as possible.

On Wednesday, a proud father Sachin announced that his daughter Sara will be joining the ‘Sachin Tendulkar Foundation (STF)’ as Director. “I’m overjoyed to share that my daughter Sara Tendulkar has joined the @STF_India as Director. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London. As she embarks on this journey to empower India through sports, healthcare, and education, it serves as a reminder of how global learning can come full circle,” Sachin Tendulkar posted on social media platform ‘X’ (Formerly Twitter).

The Sachin Tendulkar Foundation was established in September 2019 by global cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar along with his wife, Dr. Anjali Tendulkar, a paediatrician and philanthropist. It provides a platform to connect people, institutions, and resources passionate about driving social change. The foundation strives to provide equal opportunities to children and create a better world for them.

“My goal is to create a better world for our children. The Sachin Tendulkar Foundation is a meaningful step in that direction. By working together, we can make a significant difference in children’s health, education, and sports. Let’s join forces to help our youth thrive and reach their full potential,” Tendulkar says about his foundation.

Earlier in May this year, Sara completed her Masters from UCL. Sachin praised Sara for putting all the hard work through the years and completing a huge milestone. He shared glimpses from Sara’s convocation at UCL where Sachin’s daughter posed with mother Anjali.

“It was a beautiful day. The day our daughter completed her Masters with Distinction, from UCL’s Dept of Medicine, in Clinical & Public Health Nutrition. As parents, we feel so proud to have seen all the work you have put in through the years to get here. It’s not easy. Here’s to all your dreams for the future. We know you’ll make them come true. Dher ‘Sara’ Pyaar,” Sachin had written on ‘X’.
