Jasprit Bumrah shares a glimpse of a ‘lifetime experience’ from the Coldplay concert in Ahmedabad

New Delhi: Indian cricket player Jasprit Bumrah recently went to a Coldplay concert at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He shared his experience with his followers via a reel on Instagram. The prominent bowler was warmly received by the audience, and during the concert, Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, dedicated a short song to him.

Martin shared his admiration for Bumrah, labeling him as the top bowler globally. The Coldplay vocalist also jokingly noted that he finds it difficult to appreciate Bumrah’s match-winning performances against his native England.

“Jasprit, my beautiful brother. The best bowler in the whole of cricket. We do not enjoy watching you destroy England with wicket after wicket,” Said Chris.

Jasprit Bumrah thanked Coldplay and the fans for the warm welcome he received at the concert in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The 31-year-old shared a reel showcasing his experience at the event, accompanied by a caption:

“This was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you for all the love @coldplay and congratulations on the super successful shows in India. We’ll see you soon.”

Bumrah sustained an unfortunate injury during the last Test of the BGT series, which will prevent him from participating in the series against England. He is anticipated to make a comeback in February, as he has been named in the Indian squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
