ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Virat Kohli injured before IND vs PAK match? Troubling image leave fans in stress

New Delhi: Virat Kohli was spotted in a vigorous training session, showcasing his strong concentration and resolve as he gears up for the highly awaited India vs Pakistan game in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This exciting match is set to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, February 23.

On the eve of the IND vs PAK match, Kohli showed up three hours ahead of India’s practice session, highlighting his thorough preparation. He is eager to play a key role in this crucial game and help India secure the championship for the second time.

Despite Indian cricket fans showing worry over a picture of Virat with an ice pack on his left leg that spread on social media, there has been no official update regarding his fitness. The star batsman seemed prepared and determined for the upcoming crucial match.

India started their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 journey on a high, showcasing a solid all-round display to secure a six-wicket win in their first Group A encounter against Bangladesh, with Virat contributing 22 runs.

It’s worth noting that Virat had previously missed a match against England in the recent three-match ODI series at home because of a knee problem. He made a strong return in the third game, scoring a half-century and helping India secure a 3-0 sweep over the team led by Jos Buttler.

Virat boasts a solid ODI record against Pakistan, accumulating 678 runs in 16 matches at an average of 52.15 and a strike rate of 100.29. On the other hand, Pakistan had a rough start to the Champions Trophy 2025, enduring a 60-run loss to New Zealand in Karachi. Adding to their troubles, star opener Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.
