New Delhi: Ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan and Dubai, Team India has received a significant boost. While India’s fiery fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is still sidelined due to injury, the team’s chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav has fully recovered from his injury and shared the update himself.
Kuldeep Yadav, one of India’s premier spinners, had suffered a groin issue and underwent surgery. Following the procedure, he spent time at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for rehabilitation. Recently, Kuldeep shared an important update on his recovery, expressing gratitude towards the NCA and their team. On X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Recovery also requires a team effort. I’m thankful to the NCA and their team.”
Kuldeep Set to Make His Return
With Kuldeep’s post, it’s clear that he’s now fit and ready to make a return to the field. He last played for India in October of the previous year against New Zealand in Bengaluru and has since been away from international cricket. Kuldeep is now set to feature in the upcoming three-match ODI series against England next month. Following that, he will join Team India for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. Kuldeep has played 106 One Day Internationals for India and has taken 172 wickets.
