New Delhi: The Pakistan cricket squad is intensifying its preparations for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to be hosted by Pakistan and the UAE from February 19 to March 9. Prior to the tournament, Pakistan will compete in a tri-nation ODI series against South Africa and New Zealand.
This series will take place from February 8 to 14, across the newly built Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
Pakistan will face New Zealand at the Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, and New Zealand will meet South Africa on Monday, February 10, at the same venue. Afterwards, the competition will shift to Karachi, where Pakistan will challenge South Africa in a day-night encounter at the National Bank Stadium on Wednesday, February 12. The final will be played on Friday, February 14, between the top two teams.
Ahead of this series and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan unveiled their fresh jersey and kit on Friday at the renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also released a one-minute promotional video featuring key players like white-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and women’s players Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana.

Pakistan’s journey in the Champions Trophy 2025 will kick off on February 19 with an opening game against New Zealand at the revamped National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Following this, the team will head to Dubai to take on their long-time rivals, India, on February 23.
Pakistan will then wrap up their group-stage fixtures with a match against Bangladesh on February 27 in Rawalpindi.

The eight-team event will take place across three locations in Pakistan and Dubai: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. The tournament will feature a total of 15 matches. The teams are divided into two groups. Group A includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B comprises Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia.
