WATCH: Pakistan wicketkeeper Azam Khan misses EASY run-out chance, video goes viral

New Delhi: In a lighthearted moment during the 18th match of the ILT20 2025 on January 25, 2025, Pakistan’s prominent wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan found himself in a funny situation. Playing for the Desert Vipers against the Sharjah Warriors, Azam was positioned behind the stumps as the wicketkeeper. During the 18th over of the Sharjah Warriors’ innings, a minor miscommunication occurred between batters Ashton Agar and Luke Wells, leading both players to arrive at the non-striker’s end simultaneously.

What initially appeared to be a straightforward run-out chance for the Desert Vipers quickly devolved into a series of blunders, with Azam becoming the focal point of the mishaps.

He tumbled on the ground close to the striker’s end, unable to gather the throw and complete the run-out. Inadequate support allowed the ball to escape further, enabling the batters to not only preserve their wickets but also score a few runs.

In the recent ILT20 Season 3 match, Alex Hales and Sam Curran led the Vipers to an impressive eight-wicket win against the Warriorz. The pair formed an exceptional partnership, scoring 128 runs off just 65 balls, transforming a target of 152 into an easy victory. Hales achieved his half-century in 36 balls, while Curran quickly reached his fifty in 33 balls. Their performance allowed the Vipers to secure the win in 14.5 overs, bringing them closer to the playoffs.

David Payne initiated the Vipers’ performance by taking two wickets in a strong opening spell. Khuzaima Tanveer from the UAE then dominated the middle and lower order, achieving an impressive four-wicket haul. Meanwhile, Jason Roy played a notable innings for the Warriorz, scoring 55 runs off 38 balls.

WATCH: Virat Kohli’s return to Ranji Trophy draws MASSIVE crowd in Delhi, queues stretch up to 2kms, video goes viral

New Delhi: Indian cricket star Virat Kohli made his return to play for Delhi this week against Railways, marking his first appearance in domestic cricket since 2012. Fans have shown great enthusiasm for the 36-year-old’s comeback, with many lining up to see him in action.

Gate numbers 16 and 17, which were initially designated for entry, proved insufficient, prompting the opening of Gate number 18 to ensure safe access.

The state association has announced that the game will be accessible to the public at no cost, with the requirement that attendees present their Aadhaar card. Additionally, Jio Cinema, which was not initially set to air the game live, is now preparing to provide a live broadcast.

The secretary of the DDCA mentioned that they have asked the Delhi Police to enhance security measures.

“This is not a normal Ranji Trophy match. Apna Cheeku (Kohli’s nickname) khel raha hai (Our Cheeku is playing). We have requested the Delhi Police to help us with more extra police force for the next four days. We’ll also have our own private security as well,” he said.

When inquired about the DDCA’s intentions to honor Kohli prior to the match, the secretary responded, “This is not his last match. There is no such plans.”

Has Cristiano Ronaldo secretly gotten married to Georgina Rodriguez? Social media post lights up internet

New Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo has generated excitement on social media by reviving discussions regarding his relationship with long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez, following what appeared to be an accidental comment on social media.

The Portuguese star expressed a touching message for Rodriguez’s 31st birthday, referring to her as his “wife.” This sparked considerable speculation on social media about the possibility that the couple may have secretly gotten married.

“For the mother, partner, friend, my wife… happy birthday, love. Your light illuminates us, and your love infects us,” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram, accompanying it with a heart emoji.

Although the couple has not publicly acknowledged their marriage, Ronaldo’s reference to the term ‘wife’ may imply otherwise.

Rodriguez previously expressed her desire to be a wife. “I have always had this idea of being a happy woman with my husband and my children, and this is what I have,” she shared in an interview with The Telegraph.

“Wonderful children, a man who loves me, who cares for me. I love him, I care for him, I adore him, I admire him, he is a very good person and I am happy to share my life with him.”

“Marriage is in our plans, but now we have many interesting plans for the future. We have four children to educate and we are very focused on them,” she had added.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez share two children together, and she is also the stepmother to his three other children.
